My Logo

 

This is a logo I was working on in my class for a concept company who are set out to create game. I have chosen to use this logo and not any of the other ideas I have this is due to simplicity.

 

Having logo like this will allow me to change things when I am working on new game posters etc. I can do the following which I will not be able to with my other ideas:

 

 

• Change the colour of the logo but keeping the same things (1 min to change)
• Add effects to is like: Ripped effect, folded effect, burning effect, and lots more

In a way I can make the log o look like the game I a creating, and not make the poster look different due to the logo is sticking out. So I have thought about the future roll if the go and designed it accordingly.

 

Main reason I named the log KM is due to my initial and I want to known in my logo, I have not yet thought of another alternative way to say KM such as Keen Media etc. But I will keep this post updated when i have came across a name I would like to use.

 

 

Logo

Logo is a a design which represent an organisation, its main purpose of it is to be used for recognition such as the service it offers or the product it sells. 

There are 3 rows of logo which every one will know because we see them nearly every day. But each line of logo are different to each other and here is how. 

Line one has the logo of Coca-Cola which is a well known soft drink company and below it is CNN a well known news TV station. They use letters to represent their company, its designed in a different way but they are all letters.

Second sets of logo are Apple and Nike, Apple is a well known company who makes products such as iMac, iPhone, iPad well known for unique style of hardware but they so also produce software. Nike is known for sports they produce products such as shoes, top, football etc. and most of the sports. These two company use symbol to represent their company. As you can tell it is effective and the brand is well known across the world.

Lastly the two logos which are Carlsberg and Puma. Puma is a brand like Nike as i explained above who make products like boots, balls, bats and all other sport equipment. On the other hand Carlsberg is a Danish brewing company who makes good quality beers. Both the logo look different but they are the same type, they combine symbol and text together to create their logo. 

Those are the three main types of logo you should know, using these 3 different types you can now look at any logo and can tell which type is what, for example Google is the first one, Shell is the second one and finally NASA goes in to the last one.

Personal view on logo

I think logos has dominated the way we live our live, this is through lots of lots of advertisement on TV, radio and on the internet. For example if i was asked to say the first fast food place that comes into my head it would be McDonald this is because they know the correct way to attract their customer. Also clothing such as sports the brand which comes into my head is Nike, Puma, Adidas etc.
